EXCURSION TO THIEN DUONG CAVE (PARADISE CAVE) AND PHONG NHA CAVE

Program

From 8:00 to 8:30, our tour guide will pick you up in Dong Hoi city (train station, airport, hotels) or the Phong Nha – Ke Bang area to explore Thien Duong Cave (Paradise Cave) and Phong Nha Cave.

We head towards Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to visit the “Royal Palace in the Ground,” known as Paradise Cave. Upon arrival, we’ll take an electric car for a 2 km ride to the mountain’s base. From there, we’ll either climb 500 steps or follow a small trail to enter the cave.

Along the way, you’ll see the diverse ecosystem with rare tree species of this national park.

We’ll walk along the wooden stair system for 1 km, admiring various rock formations: Hexagonal Tower, Assembly of Immortals, Jade Statue, Royal Palace, Communal House of the highland area, Lotus Tower, and other stalactites of mysterious shapes depending on our imagination.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, where you can try typical local dishes.

Next, we’ll visit Phong Nha Cave. Upon reaching the pier, we’ll board a boat on Son River, listening to the romantic tales associated with the river and admiring the beautiful natural landscape of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. After about 30 minutes on the boat, enjoying the simple life of the village on both sides of the river, we’ll arrive at the entrance to Phong Nha Cave, located in the heart of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, with a length of 7,729 meters. We’ll enjoy impressive karst landscapes, underground river systems, and unique stalactites in the world. This cave is renowned for its rock formations with intriguing names like Lion, Unicorn, Kneeling Elephant, and Buddha. Additionally, we’ll explore Co Tien (Fairy) and Cung Dinh (Royal Palace) Caves to admire beautiful stalactites formed by nature over millennia.

Around 5:00 – 5:30 PM, we’ll bid farewell to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and board the bus to return to the hotel or meeting point.

Booking: You can book up to 24 hours before the tour starts if there are available slots.

Cancellation policy:

– To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 12 hours before the tour starts.

– If you cancel the tour less than 12 hours before it starts, no refund will be issued.

– No changes will be accepted within 12 hours of the tour start time (deadline based on local time).

– In case of bad weather conditions, an alternative date or full refund will be offered.
