EXCURSION TO PHONG NHA CAVE AND DARK CAVE – CHAY RIVER

Program

At 8:00 – 8:30, our tour guide will pick you up in Dong Hoi city (train station, airport, hotels) or in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang area to explore Phong Nha Cave and Dark Cave.

Upon arriving at the pier, we will board a boat on the Son River, listening to the love story associated with the river. We will admire the beautiful natural landscape of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. After about 30 minutes sitting on the boat, admiring the simple village life on both sides of the river, we will arrive at the entrance of Phong Nha Cave, located in the center of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park with a length of 7,729 meters. We will enjoy impressive karst landscapes, underground river systems, and unique stalactites. This cave is famous for its rock formations with intriguing names like Lion, Unicorn, Kneeling Elephant, and Buddha. We will also explore Co Tien (Fairy) and Cung Dinh (Royal Palace) caves to admire beautiful stalactites formed by nature over millennia.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant with typical village meals.

In the afternoon, we will kayak along the Chay River to experience its peaceful and romantic flow, with jade green waters and majestic limestone mountains. Cornfields stretch on both sides of the river, creating a beautiful landscape, and we will enjoy moments of comfortable relaxation.

Additionally, we will participate in activities such as swimming and experiencing the excitement of ziplining to bathe in the Chay River and zipline to Dark Cave. Inside this cave, we will have the opportunity to take a natural mud bath and swim in the cool lake.

At 17:00 – 17:30, we will bid farewell to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and board the bus to return to the hotel or meeting point.

When to book: You can book up to 24 hours before the excursion starts if there are still places available.

How to cancel the reservation:

– To receive a full refund for the excursion, you must cancel at least 12 hours before it starts.

– If you cancel the excursion less than 12 hours before it starts, no refund will be given.

– No changes will be accepted within 12 hours before the excursion starts (The deadline is based on the local time of the place).

– If canceled due to bad weather conditions, you will be offered another date or a full refund of the amount paid.
