EXPLORATION OF THIEN DUONG CAVE (PARADISE CAVE)
The excursion to Thiên Đường (Paradise) Cave offers a fascinating experience in one of the most spectacular caves in Vietnam. Visitors have the opportunity to marvel at the impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations that adorn the cave’s underground chambers. Guided by local experts, explorers can venture into the mysterious passages and learn about the cave’s unique geological history. Additionally, the excursion allows visitors to discover the natural beauty of the cave, with natural light filtering through cracks in the cave’s ceiling, creating beautiful light paintings on the stone walls. It is a magical experience that combines natural beauty with the thrill of exploration, leaving visitors in awe of the grandeur of Thiên Đường Cave.

(Half-day excursion: From 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
8:00 AM or 1:00 PM Our tour guide will pick you up in Dong Hoi city (Dong Hoi station, Dong Hoi airport, Dong Hoi hotels) or in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang area to explore Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave.
This cave is impressive for its beautiful and spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. It is 31.4 km long, 72 m high, and 30 – 150 m wide. According to speleologists, it is the longest dry cave in Asia. In June 2011, Paradise Cave set three records in the Vietnam Guinness Book of Records, including:
– The longest cave in Vietnam.
– The cave with the most magnificent stalactites in Vietnam.
– The longest wooden bridge in Vietnam.
We will take an electric car to transfer about 2 km to the foot of the mountain. Once there, we will continue climbing 500 steps or follow the small path to enter the cave. Along the way, we will see the diverse ecosystem with rare tree species in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.
We will walk along the wooden staircase system for 1 km, admiring various rock formations: Hexagonal Tower, Thach Thien Cung, Assembly of the Immortals, Jade Statue, Royal Palace, Communal House of the highland area, Lotus Tower… there are many mysterious-shaped stalactites depending on our imagination.
At 12:00 PM or 5:00 PM, we will say goodbye to the cave and board the bus to return to the hotel or the place you indicate.
