EXCURSION TO THIEN DUONG CAVE (PARADISE CAVE) AND PHONG NHA BOTANICAL GARDEN

Program

At 8:00 – 8:30 AM, our tour guide will pick you up in Dong Hoi city (train station, airport, hotels) or in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang area to explore Thien Duong Cave (Paradise Cave) and Phong Nha Botanical Garden.

We depart to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park to visit the “Royal Palace on Earth” known as Paradise Cave. Upon arrival, we will take an electric car for a 2 km journey to the base of the mountain. From there, we will continue by climbing 500 steps or following a small trail to enter the cave.

Along the way, you will witness the diverse ecosystem with rare tree species native to this national park.

We will walk along a 1 km wooden staircase system, admiring various rock formations: Hexagonal Tower, Assembly of Immortals, Jade Statue, Royal Palace, Communal House of the highland area, Lotus Tower, and other stalactites with mysterious forms depending on our imagination.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant where you can taste typical local dishes.

In the afternoon, we will visit Phong Nha Botanical Garden. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the wild nature and have the opportunity to learn about the rich and rare ecosystem of flora and fauna in the pristine forest, including species listed in the Red Book. Explore the beauty of Phong Nha’s mountains and forests while learning more about the conservation efforts of the garden’s staff.

You can choose between two visiting routes:

Route 1: Exhibition House ⇒ Animal Rehabilitation Area ⇒ Vang Anh Stream ⇒ Peacock Observation Area ⇒ Rare Tree Forest ⇒ Gio Waterfall.

Activities on this route include viewing exhibits; wildlife observation; seeing one of 10 beautiful and rare bird species; learning about forest insects; aquatic species; admiring orchid flowers; swimming in Vang Anh Stream; learning about plant life; and enjoying the beauty of Gio Waterfall (Wind Waterfall).

Route 2: Exhibition House ⇒ Animal Rehabilitation Area ⇒ Peacock Observation Area ⇒ Rare Tree Forest ⇒ Natural Trail ⇒ Gio Waterfall.

Activities on this route include viewing exhibits; observing primates and fruit-eating birds; seeing one of 10 beautiful bird species; viewing rare ancient trees over 100 years old; and admiring the beauty of Gio Waterfall (Wind Waterfall).

At 5:00 – 5:30 PM, we will say goodbye to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and board the bus to return to the hotel or meeting point.

Departure time: 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Booking: You can book up to 24 hours before the tour starts if there are available slots.

Cancellation Policy:

• To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 12 hours before the tour starts.
• If you cancel the tour less than 12 hours before it starts, no refund will be given.
• No changes will be accepted within 12 hours of the tour start time (deadline based on local time).
• In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions, another date or a full refund will be offered.
