BOTANICAL GARDEN AND MOOC SPRING

Program

At 8:00 – 8:30, our tour guide will pick you up from Dong Hoi city (train station, airport, hotels) or the Phong Nha – Ke Bang area to explore the Phong Nha Botanical Garden and Mooc Spring.

Upon arrival in Phong Nha, we will visit the Botanical Garden. Immerse yourself in the wild nature and learn about the rich and rare ecosystem of flora and fauna in the pristine forest, including species listed in the Red Book. At the same time, gain insights into the efforts to care for and preserve flora and fauna through the work of garden staff.

You can choose one of the following two tour routes:

Route 1: Exhibition House ⇒ Animal Rehabilitation Area ⇒ Vang Anh Stream ⇒ Peacock Viewing Area ⇒ Rare Tree Forest ⇒ Gio Waterfall.

On this route, you can participate in the following main activities: View exhibits; wildlife observation; see one of 10 beautiful and rare bird species; learn about the forest insect world; learn about aquatic species; admire orchid flowers; bathe in Vang Anh stream; learn about the plant world and admire the beauty of Gio Waterfall.

Route 2: Exhibition House ⇒ Animal Rehabilitation Area ⇒ Peacock Viewing Area ⇒ Rare Tree Forest ⇒ Natural Trail ⇒ Gio Waterfall. The main activities you can participate in are: View exhibits; observe primates and some fruit-eating birds; see one of 10 beautiful bird species; see rare ancient trees over 100 years old; admire the beauty of Gio Waterfall.

We will have lunch at a local restaurant, where you will taste typical village dishes.

Next, we will visit Mooc Spring. We will walk along a bamboo bridge through the dense primeval forest. Arriving at the center where the stream suddenly expands like a natural pool, it creates unforgettable impressions in the hearts of visitors.

Admire the beautiful landscape of Mooc Spring surrounded by rugged limestone mountains. Enjoy the fresh air, listen to the birdsong, and the water flowing among the rocks. Take plenty of photographs and immerse yourself in the cool water to refresh yourself, participating in thrilling activities like kayaking, swimming races, and jumps… in the incredibly fresh and uniquely blue water.

At 5:00 – 5:30 PM, we will bid farewell to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park and board the bus to return to your hotel or meeting point.

Departure time: 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Booking: You can book up to 24 hours before the tour starts, subject to availability.

Cancellation policy:

– To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 12 hours before the tour starts.

– If you cancel the tour less than 12 hours before it starts, no refund will be issued.

– No changes will be accepted within 12 hours of the tour start time (based on local time).

– In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions, another date or a full refund will be offered.

Payment: You can pay with any active payment method: cash or credit card.
