EXCURSION TO THE BOTANICAL GARDEN – GIÓ (WIND) WATERFALL IN PHONG NHA

Program

(Half-day excursion: From 8:00 to 12:00 or From 13:00 to 17:00)

8:00 or 13:00 Our tour guide will pick you up for the excursion to the Phong Nha Botanical Garden. This is a nature reserve with an area of over 40 hectares located in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, with its wild and majestic beauty.

Upon arriving at the garden, we will immerse ourselves in the wild nature and have the opportunity to learn about the rich and rare ecosystem of flora and fauna of the primitive forest, including species listed in the Red Book. We will explore the beauty of the mountains and forests of Phong Nha. At the same time, we will learn more about the work of caring for and preserving flora and fauna through the efforts of the garden staff.

We can choose one of the following two visit routes:

Route 1:

Exhibition House ⇒ Animal Rehabilitation Area ⇒ Vang Anh Stream ⇒ Peacock Observation Area ⇒ Rare Tree Forest ⇒ Gio Waterfall. On this route, we can participate in the following main activities: Viewing displayed specimens; wildlife observation; seeing 1 of 10 beautiful and rare bird species; learning about the world of forest insects; learning about aquatic species; admiring orchid flowers; bathing in Vang Anh Stream; learning about plant species; admiring the beauty of Gio Waterfall (The Wind Waterfall).

Route 2:

Exhibition House ⇒ Animal Rehabilitation Area ⇒ Peacock Observation Area ⇒ Rare Tree Forest ⇒ Natural Trail ⇒ Gio Waterfall. The main activities we can participate in are: Viewing exhibits; observing primates and some fruit-eating birds; seeing 1 of 10 beautiful bird species; seeing rare ancient trees over 100 years old; admiring the beauty of Gio Waterfall (The Wind Waterfall).

At 12:00 or 17:00, we will leave the Botanical Garden and return to the hotel or the location you specify.
